Finance Wales

Finance Wales provides commercial finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Wales. Whether you, or your clients, are thinking of starting a business or are in the initial months of trading - or if the business is already established - we can provide funding solutions to help owner-managers meet the challenges posed by their business aspirations.

Our investment and lending facilities span small loans starting at £1,000 through to the provision of venture capital and tailored finance packages of up to and beyond £1 million.

Working closely with the banks and other private sector investors, we invest on a commercial basis into companies across a range of industry sectors. Our funding packages have been designed for every stage of your business growth cycle and are individually tailored to meet the needs of each business.

In addition, we run a suite investment support activities to help you increase your awareness of investment-ready issues and to ensure you benefit fully from our investment once it is in place.

We have six offices across Wales - in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Newtown, St Asaph and Treforest - so that you can access up-to-date information about the funding that we offer and can talk in person to an experienced member of staff.
